Hersza is a Haitian National
that started to paint as an adolescent in her native country of Haiti.
Instead of following the traditional path of Haitian artists that mastered “primitive”, “naïve” or “post-modern art”, she painted what art
critics describe as Art: "Visual Literature", "Colors that Speak", "Shapes
that Implore", or
simply “ART”.
Hersza’s soul creates the shape of
what’s to come even before she thinks of what ‘s coming. Hersza inspiration
comes from the love and the understanding of her ancestors. Her spiritually
is not limited to one’s orientation but she believes that all humans are a
component of a “One”; that all is in One as One is in all. She now resides
in Florida with her family.
"Hersza,
merci de nous offrir en partage ta richesse intérieure. Fière de t'avoir au
nombre des maîtres haïtiens". - Marie-Alice Théard |
